I have almost 30 years of extensive experience as business psychologist and consultant working as advisor for Danish and International companies on designing and implementing business oriented and resultdriven leadership acceleration and organizational development – especially development of Executives, Executive teams, Management teams and designing and implementation of large transition and change programs has had my attention.

I have through the years held postions as Director, Managing Partner and Senior Partner in Management Consulting Companies in the fields of Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Human Development and LEAN Processes. I hold a great number of Assessment tool/test certifications and also a PRINCE II certification. I have worked as an Executive Coach, has completed mere than 7500 coaching sessions and have been part of the EMBA program at Henley Business School, where I am approved as Visiting Faculty.

I am very passionate about developing people, performance and organizations. I love my job and I am so fortunate to be able to work with ambitious, intelligent, gifted and skilled leaders and individuals. I believe in authenticity and in focusing on areas, where you do best. I also believe in the importance of strong relations between people and companies and therefore I also believe in strong networks as an important factor of business results and success.

Esben Thorup has a master degree in organizational developmental psychology from the University of Copenhagen. He has a solid continuing education within process facilitation, communication, executive tools and he is certified in a long list of occupational psychological tests, hereunder Hogan Assessments Systems.

Esben Thorup has been senior partner in AD Resources, Kjerulf & Partnere, HR Development Manager in Skanska Denmark and CSC, plus executive consultant at Copenhagen University Hospital and in the Municipality of Copenhagen. Today he runs his own consultant company, Thorup Erhvervspsykologi.

It is Esben’s ambition, with his occupational psychological, commercial and strategical experience and knowledge to contribute to his costumers insight, management and growth – economic growth, growth in well-being, and personal and organizational development. Purpose and expected result are always defined clearly together with the costumer. The goal is to add drive and insight, so that the managers will achieve even better results.
